Learn how to ease the process
1. BEFORE ORDERING -MEASURE YOUR HOME
You must verify that the furniture pieces you order will fit into your room.
The largest piece is the mattress tray (what holds the mattress), which arrives fully assembled and does not break down further. Sometimes, there are hallway turns, stairs, and elevators, that prevent this piece from entering your room. We will need you to verify that this dimension will fit. It is larger than a queen-size box spring.
The overall dimensions are 83" x 63" x 9".
2. YOUR ORDER IS READY
The factory needs about 6 weeks to produce your order. When it is ready, you will receive an email notification. We need your reply to this email to confirm that you are ready for your shipment and that we have the correct address and phone number. Your order will ship on a pallet. Please note that the freight carrier will not remove the pallet upon delivery.
WE WILL NOT SHIP YOUR ORDER WITHOUT YOUR REPLY.

3. TRACKING YOUR ORDER
Once your order has shipped, we will email you the tracking information for your shipment.
4. DELIVERY OF YOUR ORDER

The freight carrier will call you to schedule a delivery appointment.

The customer must be present at the time of delivery.

Delivery is curbside.

The customer is responsible for moving all boxes to an inside location. Boxes are very heavy and require two able-bodied people to move them.

Missed delivery appointments may incur redelivery fees, which the customer is responsible for paying.
5. SHIPPING DAMAGE
SHOULD PACKAGING ARRIVE DAMAGED, CUSTOMER IS RESPONSIBLE FOR WRITING ON THE DELIVERY PAPERWORK THAT “CONCEALED DAMAGE IS SUSPECTED” BEFORE SIGNING RECEIPT OF GOODS.
IT IS THE CUSTOMER'S RESPONSIBILITY TO OPEN AND INSPECT ALL BOXES AND PIECES FOR DAMAGE. Damage must be reported to Westcott Designs Inc., doing business as Wallbeds Company, upon delivery, along with a picture of the damage to the packaging and product. Damage noted after delivery is the customer's responsibility.
6. YOUR BED MUST BE ASSEMBLED

Product requires assembly. Our beds are the easiest to assemble in the industry. They are designed with a through-bolt system.

Boxes are heavy and may require two or more adults to move and assemble safely.

Customer assumes all risk associated with unloading, moving, lifting, assembling, and installing the product.

Westcott Designs, doing business as Wallbeds Company, is not responsible for injury, property damage, or loss resulting from customer handling or assembly.

Installation requires standard power tools and intermediate-level mechanical ability.

IT IS VERY HELPFUL TO REVIEW THE INSTALLATION GUIDE before assembling your bed.
7. BED ATTACHED TO YOUR WALL

Wallbeds must be securely fastened into a minimum of three (3) structural wall studs through the top header using appropriate screws provided.

Installation into drywall alone is strictly prohibited.

Failure to properly anchor the bed into structural studs may result in serious injury, death, or property damage.

Customer assumes full responsibility for proper installation.

Westcott Designs Inc., doing business as Wallbeds Company, is not responsible for damage, injury, or loss resulting from improper installation, anchoring, or assembly.

The product is designed for installation into standard wood-framed walls with structural studs.
-
Installation into metal studs, concrete, brick, plaster, or other wall types may require additional hardware not provided and should be installed by a licensed contractor.

The customer is responsible for verifying wall construction and suitability.

Westcott Designs Inc., doing business as Wallbeds Company, is not responsible for structural failure, wall damage, or improper installation due to unsuitable wall conditions.
8. SHIPPING DISCLOSURES

We reserve the right to cancel orders that are not serviced by our shipping providers.

If the shipping provider is unable to contact the customer for delivery, the order will be returned to Wallbeds Company at the customer's expense. The returned shipment will be held by Westcott Designs doing business as Wallbeds Company for a maximum of 30 days. If the customer contacts Westcott Designs Inc., doing business as Wallbeds Company, within 30 days of the return, the order can be reshipped for an additional fee. After 30 days, the order will be cancelled and subject to the cancellation fees listed herein.

Deliveries typically occur on the date scheduled with the freight provider. However, we recommend waiting until AFTER delivery has occurred before hiring someone to assist with your order, as delays can occur. Neither Westcott Designs doing business as Wallbeds Company nor the shipping provider is responsible for hired labor due to an incident or delayed delivery
