All products are made from Maple hardwood veneers and trimmed in solid hardwood beech. There will be a variation in finish between these two wood species when choosing a lighter stain finish. The beech trim will finish darker than the maple, creating a two-tone finish. Variations in color, grain, and natural markings are inherent to real wood and are not considered defects. Each piece will have unique tonal differences and may subtly reveal joinery and grain patterns, reflecting authentic wood craftsmanship.

Actual product color may vary from what appears on your screen due to display settings and lighting conditions. Wallbeds Company is not responsible for these differences. We recommend requesting a wood finish sample when placing your order.

Everyday Cleaning

  • Dust regularly with a soft microfiber cloth.

  • For fingerprints or light grime:

    • Use a damp (not wet) cloth with mild dish soap diluted in warm water.

    • Wipe gently.

    • Immediately dry with a clean cloth.

Never let water sit on the surface—water-based finishes resist moisture, but water can still cause clouding over time.

🚫 What NOT to Use

Do not use:

  • Furniture polish with silicone (like many aerosol sprays)

  • Oil-based polishes

  • Ammonia-based cleaners (like glass cleaner)

  • Vinegar or acidic cleaners

  • Abrasive pads or powders

  • Steam cleaners

These can dull the finish or create buildup that’s hard to remove later.

Protect From Damage

Even though water-based finishes are tough:

  • Use coasters and placemats. On desktops we recommend a blotter or acrylic desk topper.

  • Never set hot and warm pans directly on the surface.

  • Keep out of prolonged direct sunlight (UV can fade wood).

  • Use felt pads under decor and lamps.
