This warranty is intended to assure you of our commitment to providing quality and functionality for your enjoyment of this product for years to come. This warranty is extended to you, the original purchaser. and can not be transferred.The coverage starts from the time you receive your product shipment. We cover the cost of parts only, inside this 12 month period. Our Warranty does not cover shipping, handling, service fees. or un-installation and or re-installation fees incurred by the customer to replace parts or products.

LIMITED WARRANTY
Westcott Designs Inc. (“Company”) warrants to the original retail purchaser that its wood products will be free from defects in materials and workmanship under normal residential use for a period of one year from the date of purchase. The mechanism has a ten-year warranty.
If a defect arises during the warranty period, the Company will, at its sole option, repair or replace the defective product or component. This warranty does not provide for refunds, except where required by applicable law.
Coverage is limited to repair or replacement of the defective item only and does not include shipping, labor, installation, inspection costs, or loss of use, except where required by law.
OTHER LIMITATIONS
Original Purchaser-This warranty applies only to the original purchaser and is non-transferable. It is void upon resale, transfer, rental, or leasing.
Normal Use-This warranty applies only to normal indoor residential use under typical environmental conditions (generally 60–80°F and 30–60% humidity). It does not cover damage resulting from misuse, abuse, improper installation, modification, neglect, or use outside intended purposes. This warranty also does not cover damage resulting from loads exceeding 300 lbs per individual or 600 lbs combined.
Repairs or Replacements-Any repaired or replaced product is covered only for the remainder of the original warranty period.
Implied Warranties-To the extent permitted by law, any implied warranties, including merchantability and fitness for a particular purpose, are limited in duration to the warranty period stated above.
Limitation of Liability-To the extent permitted by law, the Company shall not be liable for incidental or consequential damages. Some states do not allow such limitations, so these exclusions may not apply to you.
Severability-If any provision of this warranty is found to be unenforceable, the remaining provisions will remain in full force and effect.
