There is a gap between the desktop and the bed for cords to travel.
INCLUDES 2 LED lights beneath the extended upper cabinet top, illuminating both the desk workspace when closed and the sleeping area when the bed is open. When the bed is lowered, strong steel support legs automatically deploy and lock securely into place, providing excellent stability and support for the mattress and sleeper. The Edson uses a steel mechanism with pistons to assist in both opening and lowering the bed.
