The Waverly comes with a single-panel bed support foot system, spanning the width of the mattress platform, that adds strength and support for the mattress. If you simply pull on the handles, the bed will not open. 
 
To open the bed, lift the panel foot to release the latch, then pull the bed forward. Once partially open, the bed gently floats down to the floor with our own designed Solo mechanism, featuring a slow-release safety piston lift system for smooth and controlled operation.

The cabinet is crafted using hardwood maple veneer panels and trimmed with solid beech wood. The use of two complementary wood species creates a beautiful two-tone appearance, especially in lighter finishes where the natural grain variation becomes more visible.
